Barbara (Bobbie) Berdahl (Pauley)

Bobbie passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2017 at the hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. Bobbie was born April 15, 1945. She grew up and lived most of her life in Newcastle. After graduating from Newcastle High School Bobbie did some traveling around and then had a beautiful daughter Jodi Morgan Cooley. She then met the love of her life John Berdahl. Bobbie and John then planted roots in Newcastle where they spent most of their almost 39 years of wedded bliss together.
Bobbie was an amazing strong and kind hearted woman. She was extremely quick witted and funny. She always kept everyone laughing even in the roughest of times she knew how to put a smile on your face. Bobbie was always spreading a great amount of love to her family and friends and would do anything for anyone. She was truly a one of a kind woman.
Some of Bobbie’s favorite things to do ranged from dancing, playing bingo, going fishing, reading, and she loved celebrating the 4th of July. Her absolute favorite time though was anytime she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She truly loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the most amazing wife, sister, aunt, cousin, great aunt, and friend that anybody could ask for. She was a beautiful bright light in all of our lives and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband John Berdahl, sister Vicki Cummings, brother-in-law Terry Cummings, brother Shane Pauley. Daughter Jodi Cooley, son-in-law Kevin Cooley, Stepson James Berdahl, granddaughter Megan Martini, 4 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews and all of their children. Preceded in death by her mother Lynn Pauley, father Wilbur Pauley, sister Valerie Plock, and nephew Michael Fowler.
