Interest develops in student photography club
A desire to learn more about photography and the science behind it has Newcastle High School student Alaina Boettcher searching for dark room equipment for a photography group that has been launched at the school.
During her last year of high school, 2016 Newcastle High School graduate Sierra LaCroix started the student photography group, and Alaina has continued with the group after joining LaCroix last year. With the help of Newcastle High School science teacher Zach Beam, the group’s sponsor, she now hopes to create a dark room that students can utilize moving forward.
