October brings a fresh start to the 4-H program nationally as 4-H’ers across the country celebrate their hard work and success at annual Achievement Day celebrations, and by participating in National 4-H week activities. This year, Weston County 4-H’ers have a lot to brag about, and we will be wrapping up our 4-H year celebrating all the hard work of 4-H members, leaders, and community supporters at our annual Achievement Night on October 8. (See list of members and leaders on page 8.)
Along with all the successes of Weston County 4-H members, the program as a whole has expanded and grown to meet the increasing involvement and commitment of its members and leaders.
